Saga of Tanya The Evil Season 2 has already been released!

The second season was announced at the special program on June 19, 2021. The program revealed a teaser visual and the PV. It also mentioned that the cast members will once again reprise their roles.

Unfortunately, a further announcement is still TBA. NUT studio doesn’t release new information for the series after two years. On the other hand, they have confirmed that their original anime, Bullbuster, will air in 2023.

With no appearance whatsoever in the anime exhibition for the past two years, it is hard to estimate the release date of the anime. But, this anime will likely premiere in late 2023 or beyond.

Saga of Tanya The Evil Season 2 Trailer

The trailer was released on June 19, 2021. It only has a one-person narration with no other visuals except the second season’s announcement.

In the PV, we can listen to Zettour explains the state of the Empire. He says the Empire is now the enemy of the entire world. It will only take one officer’s life to rectify their mistake.

From the narrative, fans are convinced that it is from the eleventh volume. But, the problem is the first season covers the first to the third volumes and the movie covers the fourth and fifth volumes. If the second season will cover the eleventh volume, what state the anime will be in?

It is either the arc is jumbled or we get 24 episodes that cover 6 volumes of the light novels. Either way, we will have to wait for further announcements.

Saga of Tanya The Evil Story

Tanya Deguarechaff is a child soldier who appears as a young innocent girl, but beneath that lies a soul of a regular salaryman. Thanks to “Being X”, a self-proclaimed god, he is reincarnated into the world of magic.

Unknown to him, the world she is reborn to is plagued by war. “Being X” does this because of her disbelief toward him being a god. He just wants to put her into a dire situation believing that even non-believers will turn to god when facing misfortune.

Opposing Being X’s desire, she insists that she will find happiness in this war-raging world. She enlists as a soldier with the hope of having a peaceful life. Alas, her country begins to expand its influence through a war. Now, the entire world is engulfed in the ongoing world war.

Having her war aptitude acknowledged, she quickly rises in the ranks. Without losing her purpose, she obliterates her enemies. Thus begins the saga of Tanya the Evil and the Empire as they seek world domination.
