Tower of God Season 2 Release Date
Get ready for the return of Tower of God! In August 2022, Crunchyroll announced a Season 2 of the series was in production at the Crunchyroll Expo.
At this time, not much else is known about the premiere. Season 1 of the series began airing in April 2020, so it is safe to say that Season 2 could air very soon.
We estimate that Season 2 of Tower of God will air in 2023, but this article will be updated with more news as it’s announced, so check back!

Crunchyroll released a trailer alongside the Season 2 announcement! The trailer showcases the leads Twenty-fifth Bam and Rachel, as their dangerous trek through the tower continues.
Tower of God Story
Tower of God began as a Webtoon in June 2010. Created by SIU, the world Tower of God takes place in a mysterious world with only a giant tower.
Bam has lived most of his life outside of the Tower. The only person that Bam knows is his best friend, Rachel. Bam and Rachel live outside, alone and not knowing what lies inside the Tower.
One day, Rachel miraculously enters the tower. Bam, devastated, rushes to find Rachel. The Tower opens for Bam, and his journey to find Rachel within the Tower begins.
Tower of God is critically acclaimed and one of the most successful webtoons ever. The series is ongoing and is currently published with 10 volumes.
The anime adaptation is produced by Telecom Animation; they are known for many popular series including Orange and Don’t Toy With Me Miss Nagatano.
The series is directed by Takashi Sano, who is known for his animation work on Blood+, Megalobox, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

SIU, the Tower of God creator, released an illustration with a message for the fan of the series following the announcement of the second season.
SIU wrote: “It seems like season 1 of the animation just came out yesterday, but now I’ll have a chance to see all of you again through season 2! I’m so grateful to all of the anime production staff as well as the readers, and I can’t wait to see how season 2 turns out. Thank you as always for all your support!”

Tower of God received a popular mobile game in 2013, and now a sequel is being released!
The sequel, Tower of God: Great Journey released for North American audiences in WInter 2022 for both iOS and Android.
A trailer has been released showcasing the gameplay mechanics and the popular Tower of God characters.
The game is described as a role-playing battle game with gacha elements and showcasing story elements from the Tower of God series.
