Record of Ragnarok Story
In Record of Ragnarok (Shumatsu no Warukyure), a meeting is held every 1000 years to decide the fate of all of humanity by Gods from every religion and background.
After seven-million years, the Gods decide that humans are not worth saving and elect to wipe all traces of humanity off the planet.
Before humanity is wiped off of the face of the planet, the valkyrie Brunhilde decides to impress her idea upon the council.
Brunhilde suggests that humans fight for their survival and that the battle of Ragnarok begins.
Thirteen of the strongest humans in history are chosen to go against 13 of the most elite Gods in a series of one-on-one matches.
Brunhilde is first laughed at by the many Gods, but the demigods present in the council agree to her proposition.
Now, Brunhilde must lead at least seven humans to victory to save all humanity or face the consequences of losing her bet.
The series is originally a manga co-written by Shinya Unemura and Takumi Fukui, with illustrations by Ajichika. The manga is published in Monthly Comic Zenon in Japan.
