Loving Yamada at Lv999 has already been released!

Loving Yamada at Lv999 was confirmed to be animated on September 24, 2022. The line-up of key staff was also revealed at the same time.

Morio Asaka is directing the anime. Nakanishi Yasuhiro is in charge of the series composition, while character design is drawn by Hamada Kunihiko. Madhouse will be the studio to produce this anime.

Looking back to their record, this anime has a familiar vibe as Ore Monogatari (2015), the top contender of the romance genre in its year. It is given because the director and the character designer are the same. Not to mention it also came from Madhouse.

Considering the art of the manga as well as the released PV, it is exactly the same as Ore Monogatari. The whole visual art will be enhanced further to entice the fans.

The best part? You don’t need to wait that long for this anime. Loving Yamada at Lv999 will be released on April 1, 2023.

The final trailer was released on March 14, 2023. Seeing the trailer, Madhouse really set the bar high once again. They always do a good job adapting the visuals based on the genre of the series.

KANA-BOON feat. Yuuho Kitazawa will sing the opening scene featured in the PV entitled “Gradation” while the ending song is provided by Ryujin Kiyoshi entitled “Trick Art”.

Loving Yamada at Lv999 Story

The story follows Akane Kinoshita, a college girl who just got dumped by her boyfriend. It turns out that his boyfriend falls in love with someone he met in an online game.

Annoyed, she logs in and vents her anger by hunting the same mobs again and again in the game. Upon chance, she meets Yamada Akito, her guild member whose avatar is an afro wizard wearing a Noh mask.

Yamada is a typical apathetic and curt individual. But, his attitude, somehow, pulls Akane’s interest toward him. Moving on over her breakup, she starts to meet new friends along the way.

Loving Yamada at Lv999, known as Yamada-Kun to Lv999 no Koi o Suru! in Japanese, is a Japanese shoujo manga created by Mashiro.

It began the serialization ion Comic Smart’s Ganma! manga website in March 2019. The chapters have been compiled into six volumes as of October 2022.

Media Factory is the one responsible to publish the series in print. Mangamo is publishing the digital English version of the manga simultaneously with its Japanese release. Currently, there is no print version in English.

Reportedly, the series has sold 1 million copies between digital and print releases.
